January 13, 2025: Seventy-three percent (73%) say the U.S. has become somewhat less (36%) or much less (37%) safe over the last four years. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found 21% of voters say the U.S. has become much more (7%) or somewhat more (14%) safe.
The survey found that 48% expect the U.S. to become much more (22%) or somewhat more (26%) safe now that Donald Trump has been elected president. Thirty-eight percent (39%) expect the U.S. will become somewhat less (16%) or much less (23%) safe.
