The incoming Trump administration will enlist the research efforts of conservative nonprofits for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) commission, 10 people familiar with the matter told The Washington Examiner.
DOGE is expected to work closely with the Trump administration’s Office of Management and Budget by facilitating the research efforts of several conservative groups, such as The Foundation for Government Accountability, Open the Books, the Capital Research Center, the Claremont Institute, and the White Coat Waste Project to recommend cuts to government spending.
Moreover, DOGE, the commission headed by X owner Elon Musk, will also dispatch a task force of unpaid representatives to government agencies for further reports to cut spending.
